Innovation in Full Bloom:

A New Community Campaign

Challenge

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) was looking for a new, innovative campaign to celebrate the opening of its new hospital, break through audience fatigue, and inspire new and existing supporters alike.

Strategy

The Fuse team introduced an innovative concept of a "digital forest” — an interactive display on a wall inside the new hospital. A campaign rolled out across channels introducing the “digital forest” to the community. The campaign featured tiered giving levels tied to animals in the forest — for example, a butterfly for $50 — that would appear on the wall when donors gave. Donors also received a keepsake of a custom, limited-edition watercolor print of the animal they selected, including a QR code that allowed them to recall their animal to the display when visiting the wall in person. Consistent branding across direct mail, email, and landing pages brought the campaign to life, driving response and deepening connection.
